PETRONAS Carigali Indonesia adalah perusahaan minyak dan gas (migas) yang dimiliki sepenuhnya oleh Pemerintah Malaysia. Perusahaan ini bergerak di bidang pengelolaan minyak dari sektor hulu dan hilir, seperti Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) dan petrokimia.

Pada Juni 2023, PETRONAS Carigali Indonesia memiliki hak partisipasi di 8 blok di seluruh Indonesia, dengan 4 di antaranya sudah dalam tahap produksi. Pada 2023, Petronas juga menambah portofolionya di Indonesia dengan masuk di Blok Masela bersama dengan PT Pertamina Hulu Energi (PHE).


1. Sr. PSC Management Officer

Qualification & Experience Requirements:

  • Min. Bachelor’s Degree in Economy, Finance or Petroleum Engineering
  • Minimum 8 years in Oil & Gas industry.
  • Understanding of E&P Business and technical/functional knowledge
  • Techno-commercial knowledge in petroleum arrangement i.e. PSCs, GSAs, UAs etc

2. Sr. Risk Management & Emergency Response Officer

Qualification & Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Health and Safety Engineering or equivalent discipline.
  • Minimum 8–10 years of relevant experience in Emergency Response, Crisis Management, Risk Management, HSE, or Operations within E&P, oil & gas, petrochemical, marine, or high-hazard industries.
  • Strong understanding and practical experience in Emergency Response and Crisis Management concepts, including Incident Command System (ICS), emergency organization structures, escalation protocols, and emergency coordination processes.
  • Proven experience in planning, coordinating, and orchestrating large-scale emergency drills/exercises involving multi-disciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
  • Broad experience in incident investigation, root cause analysis, and lessons learned implementation related to operational incidents, emergencies, and high-potential events.
  • Certification or formal training in incident investigation methodologies such as Tripod Beta, SCAT, TapRooT, RCA, or equivalent investigation techniques will be an added advantage.
  • Strong analytical thinking, decision-making capability, and ability to perform effectively under high-pressure and dynamic emergency situations.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills with confidence to speak up, challenge ineffective decisions constructively, and influence personnel across all organizational levels.
  • Self-driven, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities and rapidly changing operational situations.

3. Maintenance Planner

Requirements:

  • Degree in engineering preferably Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • At least 8 – 10 years in related activities for Oil and Gas industry
  • Possess good interpersonal qualities with good relationship building, networking, and independent.
  • Have knowledge in tools needed for onshore and offshore facilities
  • Proficiency in maintenance planning tools and systems (SAP).
  • Certification in maintenance planning tools (e.g., SAP PM, Maximo, or equivalent CMMS) is an advantage
  • Understanding of E&P Business and possess technical awareness in operations
  • Familiarity with reliability engineering methodologies (RCM, FMEA, RBI).

4. Administration Assistant

Qualification & Experience Requirements:

  • Diploma’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as administration officer, office management, or related roles.
  • Possess good interpersonal qualities with good relationship building, networking, and independent.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
  • Good interpersonal skills and professional demeanor
  • Must be capable of handling multiple tasks with constantly changing requirements.

5. Mechanical Technician

Qualification & Experience Requirements

  • Technical Diploma or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline (Polytechnic preferred).
  • Minimum 10 years of hands on experience as a Mechanical Technician in offshore oil & gas, petrochemical, or related process industries.
  • Strong working knowledge of HSE Management Systems and Permit to Work (PTW) practices in offshore oil & gas operations.
  • Proven experience in maintenance of rotating equipment (GTG, compressors, pumps, fin fan coolers) and static equipment (vessels, piping, valves).
  • Experience supporting or working alongside OEMs for Solar Gas Turbine Generator (GTG) maintenance activities.
  • Working knowledge or experience in maintenance of VRU systems is an advantage.
  • Hands-on experience using CMMS (SAP preferred) for maintenance execution and reporting.
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills with a systematic, safety focused approach.
  • Ability to work under offshore rotational schedules and challenging operating conditions.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a multicultural offshore team.
  • High attention to detail, strong ownership of tasks, and consistent commitment to safe operations.
  • Certification & Competency Advantages (Highly Preferred)
  • OEM or vendor training related to gas turbine, compressor, or rotating equipment maintenance (Solar GTG exposure preferred).
  • Rigging & lifting, mechanical fitting, or pressure equipment maintenance training.
  • Experience supporting statutory inspection or third party inspection activities.
  • Certified Operate Pedestal Crane either MIGAS or DISNAKER

6. Instrument Technician

Qualification & Experience Requirements

  • Technical Diploma or equivalent qualification in Instrumentation, Electronics, or a related discipline (Polytechnic preferred).
  • Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience as an Instrument Technician in offshore oil & gas, petrochemical, or related process industries.
  • Strong working knowledge of HSE Management Systems and Permit to Work (PTW) practices in offshore oil & gas operations.
  • Proven experience with field instrumentation and control systems, including DCS, SIS, and FGS.
  • Hands-on experience operating and maintaining DCS (Honeywell systems preferred).
  • Adequate working knowledge of industrial IT and networking systems associated with production operations.
  • Hands-on experience using CMMS for maintenance execution and reporting.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with a systematic, safety-focused approach.
  • Ability to work under offshore rotational schedules and challenging operating conditions.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a multicultural offshore team.
  • High attention to detail, strong ownership of tasks, and consistent commitment to safe operations.
  • Certification & Competency Advantages (Highly Preferred)
  • Hazardous area training/certification
  • OEM or vendor training/certification in instrumentation and control systems (e.g. Honeywell DCS, SIS packages).
  • Certification or formal training in Functional Safety, SIS maintenance, or IEC 61511.
  • Experience or certification in Fire & Gas systems maintenance and testing.
